Miguel is Founder and Chairman of the Board at FORTEM CAPITAL, a Private Equity Fund Manager focused on Real Estate, whose Fund investment Vehicles are listed and publicly traded at the Mexican Stock Exchange (BIVA); he is also part of the Board at Co-Capital, the Real Estate Committee of Grupo Coppel, Club de Industriales in Mexico City, Fundación Mare Nostrum, Foro Mar de Cortes, and Mexico’s National Private Equity Association (AMEXCAP).

Throughout his professional career he has held various administrative and managing positions, such as: Founder and Managing Director of Inmobiliaria Península de la Baja (Grupo IPB) where he developed, stabilized, and sold over 5,000,000 sqft in Commercial RE in Mexico for 15 years. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director of the editorials Mexico Desconocido Online and Libros Libros, Books Books. Additionally, he became part of the Regional Council for BBVA Bancomer and Banorte.

Miguel has a Law degree from the Anáhuac University along with an MBA from IE Business School, the Business School of the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. He also has several postgraduate degrees from Harvard Business School and Wharton, Pennsylvania University.

Yusef has led Fortem Capital since its foundation in 2018 up to the present date. His professional trajectory and experience within the real estate industry have enabled him to have a strong implementation and execution of investment and developmental processes at Fortem Capital.

For 25 years, Yusef served as Director of the Expansion, Real Estate, Construction, Maintenance, and Technological Innovation departments at Soriana, a leading supermarket chain in Mexico. Soriana started off with 60 stores Yusef achieved the objective of doubling the number of stores every five years nationwide. He participated in the acquisition of Grupo Gigante and Commercial Mexicana stores and participated in the negotiation of the Joint Venture with Sodimac (a subsidiary of the Chilean company Falabella). He also coordinated negotiations to launch wind farms that could cover part of the electrical needs of the group’s stores. Yusef's participation was key to achieving Soriana's strategic growth.

Yusef's achievements are the result of discipline, hard work, and perseverance. He enjoys mentoring new integrity-driven professionals. Furthermore, his professional journey has been accompanied by his family, serving as his most important pillar in achieving these personal goals and objectives.

Yusef holds a degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Monterrey. He was part of the teams at Data General, Hewlett Packard, and Soriana. He was the founder of Computación Integral del Norte, a company dedicated to providing technology solutions to medium-sized businesses, as well as Grupo Inmobiliario México, focused on developing residences in residential developments.

Ignacio has been Fortem Capital’s CFO since January 2021. His professional experience contributes to Fortem Capital's financial discipline and strategy throughout all investments.

Previously, Ignacio served as the Finance and Strategy Director of Grupo Rotoplas SAB de CV, where he was in charge of executing Rotoplas's financial strategy by meeting growth and profitability metrics in the 14 countries where the group operates.

At Engenium Capital, he was Commercial Director, where he created and structured financial plans for the mid-market.

At GE Capital as Financial Director, he structured capital markets for a 2B US$ portfolio.

Ignacio holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana. He also holds an MBA from IE Business School.
